My grandparents have it all, at this point in their lives. If they need something, they just order it. It's really hard to know what to get them for presents at times, especially something meaningful. I got the Grandpa and Grandma versions of this book because I liked the prompts that it gave more than the other books. This gift landed so well and was so appreciated that they wrote me two thank you notes. They cherish that someone actually cares about their history and story
Grandpas telling old stories—and writing them down— extremely important. Those stories are bridges between generations that need to be shared. Not only did this book help me to preserve these stories and memories so I never forget but also gave me quality time with my grandpa (He told the stories, I wrote them down) a time I will NEVER take for granted.
